NHS Highland has changed the timings of some of its forthcoming Covid and flu vaccination clinics in Caithness and Sutherland "due to low demand".

A clinic scheduled for Melvich on February 22 has been cancelled but one has been added for the Kyle Centre, Tongue, on March 1 (11am to 1pm).

The clinics with adjusted times are:

  • Bonar Bridge Community Hall, February 9 – 10am to 2pm.
  • Golspie, Fountain Road Hall, February 17 – 10am to 2pm.
  • Wick Assembly Rooms, February 24 – 10am to 2pm.
  • Lochinver Village Hall, February 25 – 11am to 2.15pm.

Clinics are bookable via the online portal (www.nhsinform.scot/winter-vaccines) or through the local Service Delivery Centre helpline on 08000 320 339.

Last week the health board announced that a Covid and flu vaccination clinic scheduled for Thurso on February 28 was being cancelled due to low demand.
