Timespan Burns supper will include a quiz, raffle and songs from Made in Helmsdale Choir

A BURNS Supper will be held in Helmsdale on Saturday, January 27.

The event is being organised by the Friends of Timespan at Timespan Museum and Arts Centre and will include a quiz, raffle and live music.

A spokesperson for the group said: "To celebrate the Scottish bard Robbie Burns, we will be hosting a dinner with a main course consisting of haggis neeps and tatties (vegetarian option available) and various homemade puddings.

"People will be offered a dram on arrival and we will have a bar by donations during the evening."

The Made in Helmsdale Choir will sing some Burns song to start the evening, followed by the Selkirk Grace and Address to the Haggis.There will also be a Burns quiz and raffle.
