Occupants of council house properties in Melvich, Portskerra, Strathy, Bettyhill and Tongue have been asked go along and meet tenant participation officer Jessica Boughey at Armadale Hall next Tuesday, March 1.

The event takes place at Armadale Village Hall on Tuesday, March 1.

The event will run from 10am to noon, and tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.

Highland Council say it is an opportunity for tenants to "get an update on housing issues and service delivery matters".

In a social media post Ms Boughey stated: "I work for Highland Council as the tenant participation officer for Sutherland.

"The event at Armadale Hall is a chance to listen to updates about the housing service and raise any concerns or queries that you might have regarding council housing. This is open to any Highland Council tenant living between Tongue and Melvich."

For more information Ms Boughey can be contacted by email: jessica.boughey@highland.gov.uk or by phone: 07774 337689.

Highland Council has 13,411 council tenants across the region.
