Putting on a theatre production is no mean feat, especially when the performers are at the younger end of the age scale.
But the p1 and p2 pupils at Golspie Primary School rose to the challenge after it was decided that they should perform the nativity play The Sleepy Shepherd.
It took weeks of hard work and effort but the end result was well worth it.
P1 pupil Reuben Smith shone in the lead role and was well supported by the rest of the cast.
And class teachers Di Hannan and Sara MacGruer said they were "very proud of the amazing effort from all the pupils".
