Sutherland marks turn of the decade

Communities across Sutherland have celebrated the start of a new year and the turn of the decade.

Golspie held a torchlight procession from Shore Street to Rhives, where a bonfire and fireworks were held.

At Brora a New Year's Day wreath laying ceremony took place at the war memorial before the traditional bonfire was lit at the harbour.
