An East Sutherland golf club has issued a big thank-you shout out to NHS workers battling to save lives during the coronavirus pandemic.

And Golspie Golf Club, which is currently closed due to Covid-19, has also revealed plans to raise money for the health service.

In a social media post, the club revealed it had opened up its online bookings for 2021 - and that a percentage of the payments would go to the NHS.

It said: “Fifty per cent of the proceeds from all new weekday bookings that are made from now until the end of June will be donated to NHS Scotland.

“As soon as we get back to some normality, we will also hold an open competition with all proceeds being donated to NHS Scotland.”
