A visit from internationally-acclaimed strongman brothers Tom and Luke Stoltman left young adults at Cantraybridge with a memory to cherish last month.

Treated to a tour of the Croy-based specialist learning centre, the brothers also enjoyed a 'unique' spot of lunch at its student-run café.

Cantraybridge, which is situated 8 miles outside Inverness, provides vocational and personal development programmes to support young adults with learning disability, autism or similar additional needs aiming to fulfil their life potential.

The centre also provides housing support for 20 residential students while supporting support young adults in the community who have moved on.

Their outreach service provides housing and activity related support within the community.

Welcoming the Stolman brothers to its café, which is open to the public from 11am to 3pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, a subtle change was made to the menu.

On the day of the visit, the "Stoltman Stack" – a unique variation on the traditional burger – went down really well with the brothers.

"We were humbled by the amazing work the team are doing there to help the students live full and inclusive lives. It really is great to see places like this in our local community giving those with additional needs the opportunities they deserve.

"We had a brilliant time meeting all the incredible young people and of course enjoyed the lovely lunch the students kindly prepared for us in their cafe!”
