Street closures for Dornoch Hogmanay party

The Highland Council is advising motorists that Castle Street, Castle Close and Shore Road, Dornoch will be closed to enable the Hogmanay Street Party in the Square to take place.

These roads will be closed from 6pm on Tuesday 31 December until 6am on Wednesday 1 January as follows:

• The A949 Bonar Bridge - Clashmore and Evelix - Dornoch Road (Castle Street) between its junctions with the C1151 High Street Dornoch and the U332 Church Street Dornoch.

• The U3332 Shore Road between its junctions with the U3444 Meadows Road Dornoch and the A949 Castle Street Dornoch and the U3349 Castle Close over its entire length.

To avoid the road closure an alternative route will be available via:

• the C1151 High Street or the U3444 Meadows Road and the U3264 Eaglefield Road.
