Strathnaver Museum is looking for photos of agricultural implements being put to use.

The museum, located at Bettyhill, is keen to receive photos showing a thresher, seed sower or hay knife in use.

A spokeswoman said: "We are looking for photos of these objects in use for our new displays. We have photos to illustrate most of the objects, but there are some gaps.

"We are particularly looking for images showing a thresher, seed sower, or hay knife, in use.

"It doesn't have to be local to north-west Sutherland, but if it is all the better."

The museum is participating this weekend in the annual Doors Open Days festival.

Short guided tours will be offered at 11am, 12pm, and 1pm on Sunday, September 18, from the reception area in the museum, a former church.
