Well-wishers, family and friends flocked to Helmsdale card and gift shop Gifted Helmsdale last Saturday to join proprietor Kelly Mackay in celebrating the 15th anniversary of the business.
They toasted the shop’s success with a glass of fizz and cake. There was also a 15 per cent discount on all purchases to mark the occasion.
Ms Mackay, who thanked supporters for the help and encouragement over the years, said: “There was a steady flow of people for most of the day, which was lovely.”
Drawings of Easter eggs made by local children were displayed in the shop window and Easter chocolates were given to everyone who submitted a drawing. The overall winners were Kenzie Macrae, Ruby Johnston and Sholto Shaw.
A raffle and the sale of handmade sunflower greetings cards raised £193 for Highland Hospice.
Gifted Helmsdale sells a wide range of gifts and other items including handbags, candles and bath and body products.
