SNP's Fergus Ewing rejects bullying allegations
Fergus Ewing, the MSP for Inverness and Nairn, has said he "completely" rejects allegations of bullying made against him.
The Scottish Government cabinet secretary for rural economy and tourism is understood to be the subject of complaints made by a number of civil servants late last year.
Mr Ewing confirmed at Holyrood today that a complaints process is under way but added: “I completely reject all claims against me.”
It has also been reported that First Minister Nicola Sturgeon knew about the complaints lodged when she gave Mr Ewing an expanded government role in last week's reshuffle, adding responsibility for tourism to his portfolio.
In 2018 Mr Ewing apologised for his “forthright” attitude after a separate bullying allegation.
