Sid's Spice voted second best Indian Restaurant in Scotland.

Sid’s Spice in Brora has been named the second best Indian restaurant in Scotland, by The Herald national newspaper.

It is one of only two in the Highlands to be on the list of 15 featured ¬� the other being the Saffron Indian in Inverness.

Compiled by The Herald’s Alex Burns, he says of Sid’s Spice: “With a population of just over 1000 people, the rural Sutherland village of Brora isn’t the first place you would expect o find a sought-after Indian Restaurant.

“But that is exactly what Sid’s Spice offers, with fresh, flavoursome food that is widely admired for its quality.

“It is a welcome stop for those doing the North Coast 500, offering something a bit different from the many pubs on the route.”
