Police have appealed for dashcam footage and witnesses.

Dashcam footage and witnesses are being sought by police investigating a "serious" three-car crash on the A9 on Hogmanay.

A 40-year-old man and an 85-year-old woman required hospital treatment after the collision on the A9 near Blair Atholl at around 11.05am on Sunday.

In an appeal for witnesses, Sergeant Brian McEwen said: "Our enquiries into this collision are ongoing and we would like to speak to the drivers of any other vehicles travelling southbound on the A9 at the time

"We would also like to see any dashcam footage which may have captured the vehicles involved prior to the collision happening."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting 'incident number 1182 of December 31'.
