Minor road in north-west Sutherland to close for 19 days for 'filming works'

A SECTION of a minor road in north-west Sutherland is to be closed for more than a fortnight to allow for "filming works", Highland Council has said.

The Oldshoremore Cemetery Road (U1106) will be closed from its junction with the Kinlochbervie-Sheigra Road (C1133) to its termination.

It will close from 7am on Friday March 22 and reopen at 6pm on Wednesday April 10.

A spokesperson for the local authority said: "The closure is necessary to allow for filming works. Local access will be preserved on an ad-hoc basis."
