Schools across Sutherland closed today due to severe weather

Due to adverse weather conditions several schools in Sutherland have announced they'll remain closed.

Schools in Brora, Dornoch and Lairg are among those impacted by the cold spell today.

A full list of closures – which is currently being updated – is available on the dedicated Highland Council website.
