PEOPLE living on a Tain housing estate are being given a golden opportunity to sort out their rubbish, garden waste and heavy appliances this coming weekend.

'Sort Out Saturday' is a Mansfield Hub initiative allowing residents of the Tain estate to have a variety of items lifted and disposed off free of charge.

This includes rubbish, garden waste, large/heavy appliances such as tumble dryers, freezers and beds.

CCAST Highland, the local residents association and the Hub work with Highland Council to remove the rubbish.

The last ‘Sort out Saturday’ of the year is September 2.

Locals are asked to message the Hub to book their items in or call Sandy on 07884411671.
