The “bucket list” golf club, which lures golfers from around the world to the Highlands, is one of the nominees for the Crown Estate Scotland Award for Outstanding Supporter of Coastal Communities.

The awards night is being hosted by STV broadcaster and journalist Nicola McAlley, with comedian Susie McCabe entertaining guests at a black-tie dinner which celebrates the positive impact that businesses in the Highlands and Islands have on their communities and showcases the diverse nature of businesses in the region and their contribution to Scotland’s economy.

Neil Hampton, Royal Dornoch Golf Club general manager, said: “This is always an eagerly anticipated event on the Highlands’ business calendar, and we are delighted to have been shortlisted for one of the nine awards."
