Ross County's home match against St Mirren today is OFF.

The decision was made after talks between the two clubs, the SPFL and Police Scotland.

It is understood the Buddies had a travelling support of around 500 ready to make the 380-mile round trip amid severe weather warnings for much of Scotland.

The Dingwall pitch itself was playable.

A Ross County statement said: "Following consultation with the SPFL and Police Scotland, our home match against St Mirren for today has been postponed.

"The date and time of the rearranged match will be confirmed in due course."

It is County's second postponement of the season after the away trip to Dens Park on October 7 fell victim to heavy rain.
