Strong ticket demand expected for final Ullapool Book Festival – here's how to get them

A WESTER Ross book festival is anticipating great demand this weekend when tickets go on sale for its final event.
Tickets for the 19th – and final – Ullapool Book Festival will go on sale on Saturday.
The programme for the May 5/6 event is now on the websiteand will go on sale on Saturday, March 11 at 9am.
Book festival organisers earlier this year confirmed the event – sure to be a poignant affair – would definitely go ahead despite clashing with the Saturday, May 6 coronation of King Charles.
They said at the time: "The writers are booked and our programme is set in place. A unique event not available on iPlayer or repeat."
Tickets will be available on www.ullapoolbookfestival.co.ukand tickets be bought by clicking through on there, or by going to www.ticketsource.co.uk/ullapool-book-festival.
Anyone without access to the internet or who can’t book online can call Ticket Source on 0333 666 3366.
A telephone service fee of £2 applies to all completed bookings.
The Ticket Source box office service is
currently available Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm and on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm (excluding bank holidays).
As this is the final festival organisers expect that tickets will be in great demand.
Festival chair Joan Michael said they have received numerous emails from people saying they will be sitting at their computers at 9am on Saturday with their lists of wanted tickets at the ready.
