Local resident Lily Byron is the driving force behind the event.

Members of the Rosehall community have unearthed old photos and documents to go on display at the exhibition and there will also be a display of banners created for Highland 2007 Year of Culture.

Entry is by donation and coffee and tea will be on offer.

Kyle of Sutherland Gala organisers say that planning for the festivities is "coming along nicely".

One event to be held on the opening Friday is a book fair at Ardgay Public Hall from 10am to 2pm. The book fair is being run by the hall.
