The exhibition was put together by local resident Lily Byron, who has been the guiding presence in Rosehall History Group for many years.

There was was fascinating information to be read and seen about the effects of the Education Act at the end of the 19th century and how Rosehall Primary School has evolved to the present day.

Other old photographs and articles described the area as it was before trees were planted and when crofting was the main employment. There was also information on local families, some of whom have dispersed far and wide.

A large number of people visited over the two days and they were made very welcome with the opportunity to enjoy tea, home baking and browse a sales table.

Thanks to the generosity of visitors, the donations pot realised £456 which will go towards helping meet the ongoing costs incurred in keeping the church open for worship each week.
