Roots, connections and belongings to be explored at creative workshops for women in Ullapool

A visual artist and a writer have teamed up to run two free creative workshops for women at a venue in UIlapool early next month.

Morag Smith and Mairi Sutherland will run the workshops at the Macphail Centre on Thursday, May 9, from 10am to 4pm and on Saturday, May 25 at the same times.

They will lead participants in exploring the themes of roots, connections and belonging through visual art, creative writing and discussion.

The workshops are part of a series being organised across the north and north-east by RCB Creative as part of its Roots, Connections and Belongings project.

Organisers RCB Creative said: “The event is a space for women to come together, connect and create. No experience is required.”.
