Highland Council announces road closures in the Highland capital on Saturday August 20 as All Under One Banner parade will march in the city

ROAD closures for a planned pro-independence rally at the weekend have been announced by the local authority.

People planning to visit the Highland capital on Saturday are advised to plan ahead as a All Under One Banner march will be passing through the city centre between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

Closures will include roads such as Ness Walk, Bridge Street and Bught Road as well as Infirmary Bridge.

YesBikers for Scottish Independence will also attend the event.
