Riverwoods sceening at Bonar Bridge will be followed by question and answer session
A FILM screening of Riverwoods: An Untold Story will be held at Bonar Bridge Community Hall on Friday March 1 at 7.30pm.
Narrated by Peter Capaldi, the documentary tells the story of Scotland's Atlantic salmon and the relationship between fish and forest.
Partly filmed in the local area, the film also explores the plight of the endangered wild salmon and how the effects of climate change can be mitigated to ensure their survival.
Next month's screening has been organised by the European Nature Trust and the Kyle of Sutherland Cinema Club.
It will be followed by a question and answer session with a panel including Keith Williams, director of Kyle of Sutherland Fisheries; Innes MacNeill, manager of Alladale Wilderness Reserve; and Kate Heightman, outreach manager for the European Nature Trust.
The panel will also discuss the Kyle Riverwoods Project.
