REVEALED: Ullapool Book Festival announces line-up of top authors at summer event

Following the announcement of a surprise returnof the renowned Ullapool Book Festival last month, organisers of the acclaimed literary event have now released the hotly-anticipated line-up of guest writers.

Last May, what everyone thought would be the final Ullapool Book Festival was held, with many fond-farewells given. However, organisers then made promises that there would be the occasional one-off author event – but the committee decided to go one better than that. There will be two separate day events, on June 22 and September 7. Each day will hold four author sessions, with a mix of fiction, non-fiction and poetry.

Now, Ullapool Book festival have announced which authors will be featuring on June 22. They are:

Those chairing the sessions will be acclaimed writer Chris Dolan, and senior Sabhal Mòr Ostaig lecturer Mark Wringe.

Tickets will go on sale on Saturday 27 April. More details on ticket sales will be announced later.
