Fiona Macdonald is attempting to contact as many of the class of 1963 as possible in a bid to mark the 60th anniversary of their entry into secondary school.

The reunion has been scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 30, when it is hoped to have a celebratory evening meal at Royal Dornoch Golf club.

There will also be an opportunity to revisit Dornoch Academy and also the town's museum.

Ms Macdonald said: "Visits to the school and Historylinks Museum can be made during the day and there will also be an opportunity to play golf on Sunday, October 1."

Any former class members wishing to attend the reunion are asked to email Ms Macdonald at: femmacdonald@btinternet.com.

She would also like to hear from anyone with contact details of any class members.
