Places are reserved for anyone residing in the community council areas of Melvich, Strathy and Armadale and Bettyhill.

A spokesman for the Trust said: "The emphasis will be on having fun with your camera as well as improving photographic skills.

"It will be mainly location based with the possibility of indoors if the weather is bad.

"Whether you have a top of the range digital camera, an ancient box brownie or a modern smart phone, this course is for you."

Anyone eligible who is interested in attending is asked to send the Trust a message via its Facebook page.
