Residents in Ardgay and Lairg areas invited to put their names forward to sit on wind farm benefit fund advisory panel

Two vacancies have arisen on a wind farm community benefit advisory panel in Sutherland.

New members are being sought for the SSE Achany and RWE Rosehall Community Benefit Fund Advisory Panel.

Residents in the Ardgay and District and Lairg Community Council areas who are aged 16 or over, are now being invited to put their names forward.

The panel meets three or four times a year to advise on grant awards from RWE Rosehall and SSE Achany Community Benefit Funds, and to review the distribution and impact of the fund.

Although the positions are voluntary, expenses such as travel or childcare can be covered.

The panel is supported by grant making charity Foundation Scotland.

Anyone interested is asked to apply online by 5pm on October 2.
