Multi-award winning band Mànran will take to the stage at Strathpeffer Pavilion on Friday, December 29.

They will be joined by Skye folk fusion act, the Peatbog Faeries.

Mànran will play in Strathpeffer hot on the heels of the release of their latest single Wild Mountain Thyme, which will to raise money for charities supporting the homeless in Scotland this Christmas.

The seven-piece have had a busy year travelling across Europe for festivals and gigs, as well as headlining events closer to home, such as Moray’s Speyfest and Warwick Folk Festival.

As well as Strathpeffer, the band will play at Kingussie and Skye this winter, as well as returning to Glasgow for the second Hoolie in the Hydro; and Dundee's Caird Hall for the glittering MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.

Gary Innes of Mànran said: “We’ve had a busy year, performing all over the place and bringing our music to new stages and faces. It has been amazing, but we are so excited to be back playing in Scotland again – a Scottish crowd is definitely hard to beat!

"We’re ready to bring the end to 2023 in style, and can’t wait to see the lovely people of Strathpeffer for a big old party very soon.”
