Santa and his team of reindeer from the famous Cairngorm pack brought the Christmas spirit with them when they arrived at Camore Wood, outside Dornoch on Sunday.

Onlookers watched entranced as, heads tossing, the reindeer pulled Santa in his authentic wooden sleigh, made in Lapland and bedecked with bells and lanterns.

It is only the second time the reindeer team have visited Sutherland and the outing was organised by the Forestry Commission.
