Ingredients

1 tube Primula Original Cheese

2 tbsp olive oil

1 large onion, sliced

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

2 slices of homemade bread, toasted.

Method

Add the oil and onions to a frying pan and cook on a low heat for 20 to 30 minutes, occasionally stirring so they don’t stick or burn. Add a splash of water if necessary to prevent them from sticking.

Add the balsamic vinegar and brown sugar. Cook for a further five mins or until the onions are sticky.

Toast two slices of bread. Evenly spread half a tube of Primula Original Cheese across the two slices of toast. Place the caramelised onions on top and serve.
