Rag'n'Bone Man says 'I’ll be back' after Inverness gig call-off
Chart-topping singer Rag’n’Bone Man has apologised after his show in Inverness was cancelled on Sunday.
But he has declared he wants to return to Scotland as soon as possible.
The 11th-hour call-off was due to "unforeseen travel issues" for his band and crew, who were heading north from London.
Rag'n'Bone Man himself – real name Rory Graham – had actually made it to Inverness, but could not perform at Northern Meeting Park without the rest of his band and crew. Some equipment was also due to be brought with them.
The decision was announced with "deep regret" on Sunday morning, with the show being described as "logistically impossible" after flights were cancelled.
"Big sorry again to everyone I was supposed to see in Inverness – my team tried everything to make it happen but a fire on a plane late on Saturday is just a little out of our control," Rag'n'Bone Man said. "I’ll be back up to Scotland as soon as we can sort it. Every single one of you is important and I don’t take your support for granted. Thanks for understanding."
