Quad bike draw will support Highland people living with cancer
Dingwall and Highland Marts is launching 'A Quad Bike Prize Draw' as one of a series of fundraising initiatives to raise money for cancer support charity Maggie’s Highlands.
All profits will go to the Inverness-based charity which offers free support to anyone living with cancer and their family and friends.
One lucky ticket holder will be in with a chance of winning a brand-new Segway Snarler ATV6B Quad, which will be unveiled at the Mart’s anniversary sale this Wednesday, with tickets going on sale that day.
The raffle will be drawn at the venue's 'Highland Ladies Sale' on December 13. Tickets can be purchased at Maggie’s Highlands, the Mart, or at selection of MacGregor Industrial Supplies stores across the Highlands.
Marts managing director Grant Macpherson said: “We have a long history with Maggie’s Highlands and are delighted to be partnering with MacGregor Industrial Supplies and Segway UK in raising much-needed funds for this fantastic facility in the Highlands.”
Andrew Benjamin, fundraising manager at Maggie’s Highlands, said: "We are incredibly thankful to Grant Macpherson and the auction mart for their ongoing support and commitment. Maggie’s Highlands are supporting a record number of people living with cancer and their families across the Highlands and fundraising is becoming tougher with the cost-of-living crisis, so this prize draw will go towards the £500,000 it costs to run Maggie’s Highlands each year. We are also thankful to MacGregor Industrial Supplies and Segway for their support with this fundraiser.”
Other upcoming events at the venue for the charity include the Highland sale of Wine Whisky and Spirits within Fraser Auction room on November 24.
