Fiona Cooke posted: “The committee and all the helpers put on a fantastic week and the community came out to support and enjoy the events. Well done everyone!”

And Debbie Mackay wrote: “Amazing week. Everyone loved it.”

Organisers in their turn have thanked those who volunteered during the week and those who supported events. A spokeswoman for the carnival week said that every event had been very well attended.

Brora Community Council’s community award was presented during the week to volunteers who kept the village going through the Covid-19 pandemic. Annarie Heneghan, Eileen Parkin and Jane Sutherland represented the volunteers.
