The power firm says the application will be submitted to the Scottish Government Energy Consents Unit early next year.

The consultation event has been scheduled to take place at Rosehall Village Hall on Wednesday, December 15, from 12pm to 6.30pm.

A spokesman for Energiekontor said: "This event will allow members of the project team to present their plans to the local community, hear feedback and answer any questions."

Energiekontor received planning consent last month for an increased tip height on its already consented Lairg II Wind Farm.

The spokesman said: "This decision will increase the successful viability of the project and it is expected to be built out and operational by the end of 2022."

Anyone interested in attending the public consultation event is asked to contact Energiekontor beforehand by email: kirsty.obrien@invictapa.co.uk or phone: 0141 2127123.
