Police are appealing for information on the following. Please contact the police station mentioned or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111:

About 2.35pm on Friday, 25 November, two males were seen within the shop known as "Gifted" in Dunrobin Street, Helmsdale.

The males were behaving suspiciously and as one bought an item from the shop another is believed to have stolen a watch from a display. Both males then ran from the shop.

Police are seeking information from any person who was in the area at the time and may have seen two males running from the shop to contact them at Brora on 01408 621222.

Between 4pm on 25 November and 11.20am on the 26 November, damage was caused to a Vauxhall Frontera motor vehicle which was parked unattended in a yard at East Clyne, Brora.

The damage consists of a number of windows of the vehicle being smashed. Police would like to hear from any person with information regarding this crime and ask that contact them at Brora on 01408 621222 .

Overnight between 26 and 27 November, a substance was poured over a new vehicle that was parked in Stafford Terrace, Brora. It is estimated that the cost of repairing the damage will be in excess of £2000. It is thought that this was a targeted attack but it may also be connected to a spate of other vandalisms in the Brora area in recent weeks.

Police are keen for any member of the public to contact them with information leading to the identity of the person/s responsible for these crimes.

Some time in the early part of November, two separate sections of fencing surrounding fields adjacent to the A9 at Proncy, Dornoch, were deliberately cut. Police would like to hear from anyone who has information regarding this matter. Please contact Police at Dornoch on 01862 810222.
