Police investigate death of man (20) in Wick

Police are looking into the circumstances after a 20-year-old man died in Wick on Wednesday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.15pm on Wednesday, January 11, we were called to a report of a man unwell within a property on Loch Street, Wick.

“Emergency services attended and the 20-year-old man was taken to hospital where he later died.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. A report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
