Police called to one vehicle crash south of Ullapool

A driver escaped injury after losing control of his vehicle in icy conditions south of Ullapool this morning.

The accident happened on a corner stretch of the A835 near Leckmelm Chalets at around 8.45 am.

Police attended, but nobody was hurt in the incident and the road remains open to traffic in both directions.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.45am on Wednesday, March 8, police were called to the A835 south of Ullapool, following a one-vehicle crash.

“Recovery has been arranged.”
