Police appeal for help after break-in at KLB Spar

Police Scotland is appealing for information following a break-in at the Spar store in Kinlochbervie.

Entry was forced to the shop sometime between Saturday evening and 9am yesterday.

Extensive damage was caused to the store and a sum of cash was stolen.

Detective Inspector Scott Macdonald said: "This is an extremely unusual incident for somewhere such as Kinlochbervie and we are working to identify whoever is responsible.

"Anyone who may have seen any peoples or vehicles acting suspiciously in the area during the weekend is asked to come forward and contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number NE/2152/19.

"You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
