PICTURES: Winnie Ewing's memorial service was a who's who of Scottish politics
Inverness Cathedral hosted the celebration of Winnie Ewing's life – it attracted more big political names to the city than any event since the SNP's conference back in 2011.
Among them were three past and present First Ministers: Alex Salmond, Nicola Sturgeon and incumbent Humza Yousaf.
There was MPs like Drew Hendry and Joanna Cherry as well as a whole host of MSPs, some of whom were delivering readings like presiding officer Allison Johnston and Kate Forbes.
Alongside Nicola Sturgeon was former health secretary Jeanne Freeman while Former MP Tasmina Ahmed Sheikh was also there.
There were a number of people who served in government over the years and some are MPs or MSPs including Alex Neil, Kenny MacAskill, John Swinney and Keith Brown.
Julie Fowlis sang at the ceremony while some of the other attendees turned out in sutiably traditional Scottish dress.
