PICTURES: Stunning new images offer glimpse inside future Inverness Castle Experience attraction
Stunning new images have been released offering a glimpse of what the transformed Inverness Castle will look like inside once it opens as a tourist attraction.
Highland Council released the images this week after the latest meeting of its economy and infrastructure committee noted the progress of the £30 million project.
The committee approved plans to direct £100,000 of its share of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) to pay for a new staff training programme at the castle ahead of its opening next year.
It also agreed to set up a new management board to oversee the project once work is complete and the site is handed over by the current delivery group.

But the news most likely to wow the general public was the council’s issuing of brand new artist’s impressions of the interior - as well a glimpse of the visual video delights that await visitors to the castle when it finally reopens its doors in summer 2025.
