Sweets, drinks, games and other freebies and special offers were all available to students who went along to freshers fair events at UHI Inverness.
Around 50 vendors were at the events organised by Highlands and Islands Students' Association (HISA) at Inverness Campus on Wednesday and Thursday.
Careers advice and the chance to find out about part-time jobs for students was available yesterday, while today's event was about engaging in the community by joining societies, gyms or getting involved in other ways.
It was the first in-person freshers fair since the start of the pandemic and a similar event will be held at UHI Inverness's Scottish School of Forestry in Balloch next Thursday.
Sophie MacGregor, HISA student voice assistant (Inverness), said: "It was so much fun. It's been great having everyone back in-person, especially after Covid restrictions.
"There's been a buzz in the atrium with happy students and seeing them engage with different people over the last two days makes it worthwhile.
"Students loved the freebies and some people had more sign-ups than they expected, which speaks for itself really.
"All the vendors have enjoyed the exposure and are really happy to have had this opportunity to get students involved but also enjoyed the networking side of it."
William Campbell, UHI Inverness president HISA, said: "It's been great to see the enthusiasm of the students.
"It was a great opportunity for us to also discuss what we do and the partnership across UHI.
"We're also grateful to UHI Inverness because although we organised it, they supplied the tables, chairs and space for us to do this so it was a great joint effort."
