PICTURES: Spooky Halloween fun at Rogart Primary School bash

It was a gathering of witches and warlocks, ghosts and ghouls and everything in-between including a cowboy, a clown, dinosaurs and cute baby pumpkins.

Rogart Primary School Parent Teachers Association's spooktacular Halloween party last Saturday was not for the faint-hearted, but the boisterous bash was enjoyed by all.

More than 30 children attended and sat down to a slap-up afternoon tea.

Community stalwarts Sandy Mackenzie and Ray Davie had the difficult task of judging the fancy dress and carved pumpkin competitions, but were more than up to the task.

Under P1 - 1 Benedict Blake, 2 Nelly McHardy, 3 River Meldrum.

P1-P3 – 1 Mia Tyser, 2 Arthur Blake, 3 James Hughes.

P4-P7 – 1 Sonny Sutherland, 2 Nixi Mackenzie, 3 Joshua Michelson.

Pumpkins – James Hughes, 2 Julie Ross, 3 Hugh Mackay.

A PTA spokesman said: "We would like to thank everyone for coming and for their support for the event."

The next PTA event is a Christmas fete an auction on Saturday, November 26 at the village hall.
