Rosehall was the place to be last Saturday evening for lovers of all things Halloween.
A spooktacular dance saw the village hall transformed into a creepy cavern.
Organisers had promised the venue would look like a “Hammer House of Horror film set” and it more than lived up to their word.
Resident spooky designer Sharon Charlton had gone above and beyond with black drapes, flying bats and subdued lighting.
And dance-goers dug out the red and white face paint and harnessed their creativity to come up with all sorts of weird and wonderful costumes
Winner of the fancy dress competition was Ashley Smith as the Joker and Bev Morrison as a bat.
The evening included a fastest mummy wrapping competition, which had everyone in stitches. And everyone was encouraged onto the floor to take part in upbeat Latin line dance lessons and to dance to Caithness band Ezra.
Organiser Tracey Smith said: “It was a great night in the village hall.”
