Have you been enjoying the Red Arrows' unofficial displays in Highland skies in recent days?
The iconic RAF stunt flying team have been training in the skies above Easter Ross this week – flying out of RAF Lossiemouth in Moray before crossing the Moray Firth near Nairn and heading north towards the skies above the Tain Range and Dornoch Firth.

There they have been wowing onlookers with their close formation flying and smoke trails, with lucky residents in the area being treated to multiple visits per day.
After arriving in local skies on Monday, they embarked on a further three training exercises on Tuesday, with a further three lined up on Wednesday and more for Thursday before the unit flies back south.
Wednesday's appearances above the Tain Range were due to take place between around 9am and 9.30am, midday and 12.30pm, and 3pm and 3.30pm – with people living in Nairn, Cromarty, Balintore, Edderton, Invergordon and Lossiemouth getting to view the planes as they make their way to and from RAF Lossiemouth either side of those rough time windows.
The specific timings are subject to some variation, and also depend upon the weather, but those who have been lucky enough to see the aircraft in action have been treated to some stunning aerobatic feats.
