Fire crews have been sent to the scene from Inverness, Nairn, Forres, Beauly, Invergordon and Dornoch.

Smoke could be seen from Inverness earlier this evening.

It is understood some local roads near the area may be closed and that some local residents are considering spending the night elsewhere.
