For spectators, the main show ring hosted a variety of attractions including the Ardross pipe band, the ever popular working sheepdog display, vintage vehicle parades, children's sports, terrier racing and, of course, judging of the champions and the livestock parade.

In addition to events in the show ring, there was fun for all the family with the fun fair and a farming education tent.

A statement from the show organisers on social media said: "What a fabulous day at the Sutherland Show today! Well done to all of the organisers for making it happen. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying all of the attractions and, of course, the great weather."
