CAMPAIGNERS concerned about the climate emergency have placed banners on Ness Bridge.
The signs were placed shortly before lunchtime today, as the COP26 got under way in Glasgow.
More than 190 global leaders are meeting in Glasgow today, after a welcome address from prime minister Boris Johnson.
The banners were placed on Ness Bridge.
One reads COP26, we are watching you.
Others, of which there are around a dozen or so, read "Climate Emergency", "No More Rigs More Jobs Now", "Stop the Harm, Protect the Planet Protect Our Health".
A number of campaigners remain on the bridge, and are talking with people about the climate emergency.
Campaigners are urging the parties at the COP26, including representatives of Highland Council, to "Act Now", it is hoped agreement can be reached to limit the increase of temperatures by 1.5 degrees.
