KoSDT project manager Beverly Hall said: "We served a cooked breakfast, yoghurts, petit pains, fruit and juice along with tea or coffee.

"We would like to thank all who supported this event and a special thank-you to our volunteers who worked so hard on the day to make the event the success it was."

The trust was also involved in the Queen's Platinum jubilee community beacons and walk held in Ardgay and Bonar Bridge on the evening of Thursday, June 2.

Christine Mackay, a deputy lieutenant with the county's Lord Lieutenancy team, also played a part in organising the light display and walk, which was funded by Creich Community Council.

The community council also funded community bunting making sessions held last month to provide decoration for Platinum Jubilee venues in Ardgay, Bonar Bridge and Lairg.

Ms Hall said: "The bunting was made using old agricultural feed bags in a bid to be environmentally mindful."
