Farr High School’s Leavers’ Assembly took place in the school hall on Thursday, July 7 – the first time it has been held in three years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Head teacher Katherine Wood gave a rousing welcome to pupils, parent council members and guests before calling on staff members to make a variety of presentations in many fields of endeavour.

Guest speaker was local police constable Graham Prentice who spoke about his varied and challenging role.

After closing remarks, the assembly ended with an expert and enthusiastic performance by the Certificate Music 2 class of Another One Bites the Dust which was greatly enjoyed by the audience.
